Tesla recalls 173 Cybertrucks over brake-rotor flaw that could detach wheels
Tesla is recalling all 173 rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck Long Range models (about $70,000) because brake rotor stud holes may crack and allow the stud to separate from the wheel hub, potentially causing a wheel to detach. The company will replace front and rear rotors, hubs, and lug nuts at no charge; no crashes or injuries have been reported. This is the 11th Cybertruck recall, and the cheaper AWD variant introduced earlier this year is not affected.
