Panthers Rookie Brazzell II Out for Season with LCL Tear, Forcing WR Shuffle
Panthers rookie wide receiver Chris Brazzell II is undergoing season-ending surgery for a torn LCL, ending his debut season after an initial non-surgical plan. With Brazzell out, Carolina will lean on Xavier Legette, Jalen Coker, John Metchie III and Tetairoa McMillan as they open the season Sept. 13 against the Bears, while right tackle Taylor Moton (blood clot in the lung) and linebacker Nic Scourton (ACL) also miss time.
