Cayuga Heights fatal stabbing: 20-year-old charged with murder in Breanne Keane's death
A 20-year-old man, Damien Stewart, has been charged with second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of 19-year-old Breanne Keane in Cayuga Heights on May 23. Police say Stewart is the sole suspect and the investigation is ongoing; Keane, a Lehman Alternative Community School student who was set to graduate in June, died while being transported to a trauma center. Stewart is jailed in Tompkins County awaiting further proceedings.
