Shiffrin, Johnson Lead U.S. Charge in Olympic Women’s Team Combined Debut
The United States anchors its effort in the new Olympic women’s team combined with Breezy Johnson and Mikaela Shiffrin, a format that pairs a downhill run with a slalom to crown the fastest total time. Johnson and Shiffrin previously won the event at the 2025 World Championships, and Shiffrin is the most decorated World Cup racer ever. The U.S. fields four duos in total, facing strong competition from Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. The event is streamed on Peacock and NBCOlympics.com, with downhill action followed by slalom.
