Breguet’s Tradition collection preserves the brand’s pocket-watch DNA by translating the 1796 Souscription’s ideas of simplified, serial production and a single-hand display into wristwatches. Debuting in 2005 with references 7027 (hand-wound) and 7037 (automatic), the line recreates the Souscription’s central barrel and stepped bridges while embracing modern materials and innovations, such as the tourbillon with fusée‑and‑chain (7047), retrograde date (7597), GMT (7067), and automatic winding with a ceramic rotor (7097/7035). The collection harmonizes historical design cues—engine-turned guilloché dials, Breguet hands, and signature aesthetics—with contemporary watchmaking, illustrating how heritage and innovation can coexist under Abraham-Louis Breguet’s lasting legacy.
To celebrate 225 years since the tourbillon patent, Breguet launches three new tourbillon watches: the Classique Tourbillon Sidereal 7255PT in platinum with a black aventurine dial (limited to 50, CHF 223,000); the Tradition Tourbillon 7047PT with fusee-and-chain (limited to 25, CHF 246,300); and the Marine Tourbillon Equation Marchante 5887PT in platinum with a luminescent sky dial (limited to 25, CHF 292,300 on rubber or CHF 370,700 on platinum bracelet).
