Pro-Palestinian Protesters Block I-40 Bridge in Memphis
Approximately 300 protesters, organized by Memphis Voices for Palestine, shut down the Hernando de Soto bridge in Memphis to demand a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war and to protest the use of U.S. tax dollars to fund the Israel Defence Forces. The protest caused major disruption, with protesters eventually dispersing peacefully after being told to evacuate the bridge by law enforcement.
