Patriots Finalize 12-Man Practice Squad with Key Punter and Lineman Additions
The New England Patriots have finalized their initial 12-player practice squad, filling critical gaps left by preseason cuts and injuries. The roster includes punter Mitch Wishnowsky, who steps in for injured starter Bryce Baringer, and offensive tackle Lorenz Metz, an International Pathway player who does not count against the 16-player limit. The squad also features running backs Hassan Haskins and Lan Larison, along with defensive tackle Jeremiah Pharms Jr. and safety Mike Brown. While 11 of the 12 signees were previously with the team during training camp, the Patriots retain five open spots on the practice squad and two on the 53-man roster, with veteran center Ben Brown a likely candidate for return.
