The University of Georgia has welcomed Uga XI, the latest in a long line of English bulldog mascots that have represented the school's football team since 1955. Uga XI was officially crowned in a "collaring ceremony" prior to Georgia's Red and Black Game. The Uga line has been a fixture of Georgia football for over six decades, with each mascot receiving their own accolades. Uga XI's official duties will begin on September 2 when Georgia plays the University of Tennessee-Martin.
