UK government introduces £100 fines for loud music on buses
The UK government has launched a crackdown on anti-social behaviour on public transport, introducing £100 fines for loud music, vaping, and littering on buses in England. A national rail campaign titled 'share the carriage, not the noise' aims to reduce noise on trains, where existing fines can reach £1,000. While the measures target nuisance behaviour, critics argue they do not adequately address violence against transport workers.
