Ex-Idol contestant charged in Ohio wife’s killing
Authorities in Tipp City, Ohio arrested former American Idol contestant Caleb Flynn, 39, and charged him with murder, assault and tampering with evidence for shooting his wife, Ashley Flynn, and allegedly staging the crime scene to mislead investigators. Flynn pleaded not guilty at a jail arraignment, with bond set at $2 million. Ashley Flynn, 37, a middle school volleyball coach, was found dead after a report of a burglary and shooting at their home; a 911 call released by authorities includes Flynn describing intruders and blood everywhere as investigators continued to probe the case.
