
Alabama Cop Arrested and Fired for Stealing Pokémon Cards in Uniform
A corrections officer in Alabama was arrested and fired for allegedly stealing Pokémon cards from a Walmart. The officer was caught opening card packs and pocketing individual cards in full view of a Walmart loss prevention employee. After fleeing the store, he was later found at a local restaurant with the stolen cards still in his pockets. The officer was arrested and charged with theft, and the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office terminated his employment, stating that he had tarnished their agency and the image of law enforcement.
