Founder of Presley Gerber's Santa Monica Facility Faces Scrutiny Over 2002 Drug Arrests and Licensing History
The founder of the Santa Monica facility where Presley Gerber died on September 20, 2026, has a documented history of drug-related arrests and licensing issues. Reza Nabavi, a licensed psychologist, was arrested twice in 2002 for possession and attempted sale of methamphetamine. He faced multiple denials from the California Board of Psychology before obtaining his license in 2006 under strict probationary conditions. The facility, Resolutions Living, is not licensed as a residential treatment center by state authorities, though it is classified as a rehabilitation facility by the medical examiner.
