Camera-Equipped AirPods Pro Development Suspended, Leaker Claims
Kosutami, a prototype leaker, claims Apple’s camera-equipped AirPods Pro development has been suspended, despite Bloomberg’s May report that the feature was near completion and in advanced testing. The cameras would feed visual data to Siri for AI use rather than capture photos or videos. The project has been in development for about four years, with a potential 2026 launch that could be delayed due to AI readiness or supply-chain constraints as Apple weighs the feature’s viability across iOS 27.
