Brad Pitt's 'Heart of the Beast' Premieres as a Tearjerker
Brad Pitt stars in 'Heart of the Beast,' a new survival drama directed by David Ayer that follows a retired military veteran and his German Shepherd through a harrowing journey across the Alaskan wilderness. The film, which opens in theaters on September 25, 2026, is praised for its emotional intensity and the chemistry between Pitt and the canine lead, though some critics note its heavy reliance on sentimentality and visual effects.
