Northern Kentucky University and head women's basketball coach Camryn Volz have mutually agreed to part ways after eight seasons, following an investigation into alleged conduct. The university stated that although Volz did not violate any employment policies, a change in leadership was deemed appropriate. This decision comes after a previous investigation in 2019 regarding complaints of emotional abuse and a toxic environment within the program, which was found unsubstantiated. NKU will now commence the search for a new head coach for the women's basketball program.
