York County Mother Hosts Golf Charity to Fund Metastatic Breast Cancer Research Amid Ongoing Treatment
Trisha Lane, a York County mother diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in 2020, is hosting the annual Breast Fest golf fundraiser at The Links at Gettysburg on October 10. The event aims to support Cancer Culture, a nonprofit she founded, to advance research for metastatic breast cancer. Lane, who has three children, continues treatment despite a recent small progression in her condition, emphasizing that the disease remains terminal and requires continuous management. Over 175 golfers are registered for the day-long event, which includes scrambles, a silent auction, and raffles to raise awareness and funds for patients facing this incurable diagnosis.
