Capital Factory founder Joshua Baer dies in Laredo plane crash
Joshua Baer, founder and CEO of Capital Factory and former Texas Tribune board member, died when a NetJets Cessna 680A crashed on Loop 20 in Laredo after mechanical issues; six people were aboard, five others injured but not seriously; the plane struck a car; FAA and NTSB are investigating; Baer was 50 and helped build Texas’ startup ecosystem.
