Dunlap believes he can help a team win a Super Bowl, as he did with the Chiefs last year. He played in all 17 regular-season games and all three postseason games for the Chiefs in 2022, recording four sacks and knocking down eight passes. The 34-year-old Dunlap, who played most of his career with the Bengals, has 100 career sacks.

Carlos Dunlap Considering Return to Chiefs in 2023 Free Agency

Carlos Dunlap, a 13-year defensive end, has not ruled out a return to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023. Dunlap accomplished his goals during the 2022 season, including winning his first playoff game and lifting the Lombardi Trophy. He served as a mentor to younger players and could do the same for rookie defensive ends in 2023. The Chiefs have a need for a veteran defensive end, and once a deal for defensive tackle Chris Jones frees up cap space, it makes sense for Dunlap to return.
