Ex-prosecutor indicted for emailing herself confidential Jack Smith files
A former federal prosecutor, Carmen Lineberger, was indicted on four counts for stealing, concealing and altering government files related to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into Donald Trump. She allegedly emailed confidential materials to her personal accounts and renamed files to hide them; she was arraigned in West Palm Beach and, if convicted on all charges, could face more than 20 years in prison.
