UNC defensive coordinator Steve Belichick to resign after probe finds disregard for Carolina values
UNC defensive coordinator Steve Belichick will resign on Oct. 27 after an internal investigation found actions that demonstrated a disregard for Carolina’s values and standards of conduct; he has been on medical leave for more than a month. The findings said the actions were isolated and not a systemic failure. The move comes as GM Michael Lombardi resigned earlier, and freshman WR Keeyun Chapman was suspended indefinitely for a gun charge, with CJ Sadler cited for speeding, as UNC aims to strengthen the program.
