Two Students Killed as School Bus Collision Shocks Carroll County

A Kenwood Middle School bus carrying around two dozen students and staff returning from a Jackson field trip collided with a TDOT dump truck and a Trailblazer in Carroll County, killing two students at the scene and injuring several others. About 25 students and five adults were on the bus; seven helicopters and multiple ambulances evacuated victims to hospitals in Memphis, Nashville, and nearby facilities. "Carroll County Firefighter Arrested for Intentionally Setting Fires"

Allison Nicole Creutzer, a volunteer firefighter in Carroll County, was arrested and charged with intentionally setting fires in the Eldersburg and Liberty Reservoir areas. The 20-year-old was connected to a string of intentionally set wood fires and was also charged with calling in a false report of a fire. Creutzer was a member of two fire departments and was released on a $10,000 unsecured personal bond. The State Fire Marshal emphasized that her alleged actions do not reflect on the thousands of dedicated firefighters who serve the community.
