Analogue 3D Update Lets N64 Carts Display in Color, With HDR Clarifications
Analogue 3D’s 1.2.6 update adds a Library Cartridge Colors option so N64 carts can be shown in the menu in Grey/Red/Green/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Black/Purple/Pink, with colors defaulting to each game’s regional release. It also clarifies the Advanced HDR feature, noting HDR10-compatible displays will automatically benefit from a wider color range, brighter details, and deeper blacks, while Original Display Modes are HDR-capable. The patch includes SD card stability improvements, an updated Progressive Output toggle (fixing flicker in some games like Resident Evil 2), and various UI and performance tweaks per the official notes.
