The model, set to begin in 2025, will test outcomes-based agreements for groundbreaking CGTs, potentially increasing affordable access to life-changing treatments while also reducing long-term health spending. This initiative is part of the Administration's broader effort to drive down prescription drug costs and was developed in response to an executive order issued by President Biden in 2022.
