Mazur’s two-goal night lifts Griffins to 4-2 win, taking 2-1 series edge
In Game 3 of the Central Division Semifinals, the Grand Rapids Griffins defeated the Manitoba Moose 4-2 at Van Andel Arena to take a 2-1 series lead. Carter Mazur scored the second-period game-winner and added an empty-net goal in the final minute, with Erik Gustafsson recording a goal and assist and Jakub Rychlovský opening the scoring. Michal Postava stopped 15 shots to extend his playoff string of allowing no more than three goals per game. The Griffins will look to close the series in Game 4 on Friday.
