McKenna Extends Lead as NA Top Prospect for 2026 NHL Draft
Gavin McKenna of Penn State remains the No. 1 North American skater on NHL Central Scouting's final rankings for the 2026 Upper Deck NHL Draft, after a 51-point NCAA season. The top five North American skaters are McKenna (No. 1), Chase Reid (No. 2), Carson Carels (No. 3), Keaton Verhoeff (No. 4) and Daxon Rudolph (No. 5). The draft runs June 26-27 in Buffalo, with the lottery on May 5; international skaters are led by Ivar Stenberg.
