Midair collision at Carlisle Airport leaves pilot dead, two troopers injured
A Cessna 150 collided in midair with a Pennsylvania State Police Bell 407 helicopter at Carlisle Airport during a routine training exercise, killing the plane's pilot and injuring two troopers who were trapped inside the helicopter; the troopers have minor injuries and are stable, with one to be released later. The FAA responded and the NTSB will lead the investigation, and operations at nearby Harrisburg International Airport were not affected.
