Huawei and Changan join forces to revolutionize smart car industry
Huawei will transfer its smart car unit's core technologies and resources to a new joint company with Changan Auto, in which Changan will own up to 40%. The new company will focus on research and development, production, sales, and service of intelligent automotive systems and component solutions. Huawei aims to collaborate with more auto firms to capitalize on the opportunities in the electrification and intelligent transformation of the auto industry. Huawei has existing partnerships with Changan and Seres Group, and has received over 50,000 orders for its revamped M7 model.
