Clueless Returns as a Paramount+ Limited Series with Alicia Silverstone in Tow

Paramount+ has ordered a Clueless sequel limited series led by Alicia Silverstone, picking up 30 years after the 1995 film. Cher Horowitz is now successful in business and motherhood, but parenting a teenager makes her feel clueless again. Silverstone will executive-produce alongside Amy Heckerling (who wrote/directed the original film), with Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, and Jordan Weiss writing. Clueless returns: Alicia Silverstone to lead six-episode Paramount+ revival

Paramount+ has ordered a six-episode Clueless sequel series, with Alicia Silverstone reprising Cher Horowitz. The show, originally eyed for Peacock, will be produced by CBS Studios (not Universal Television) with production in Los Angeles slated for 2027. Set in the present day, the series follows Cher balancing business and motherhood as she navigates her daughter’s high school years. Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage and Jordan Weiss wrote the series, with Silverstone, Amy Heckerling and Robert Lawrence among the executive producers.
