Italian Court Reopens Probe into Prada Manager’s Fatal Statue Strike
An Italian court has ordered the reopening of the investigation into the 2024 death of Chiara Jaconis, a Prada manager killed by a falling statue in Naples. The case was stalled because the 13-year-old boy who threw the object was below the age of criminal responsibility. A new ballistics assessment aims to identify which of two statues fell, while Jaconis’s mother continues to demand accountability.
