The estranged son of Metro Nashville Police Department Chief John Drake, 38-year-old John C. Drake Jr., is wanted for shooting two LaVergne Police officers. Drake Jr., a convicted felon, is currently on the run and considered armed and dangerous. Chief Drake expressed shock and sadness over his son's actions and urged anyone with information to contact law enforcement. The wounded officers are in stable condition.
