Ex-vice principal back in court over 6-year-old’s 2023 Richneck shooting
A former Richneck Elementary assistant principal, Ebony Parker, is back in court facing eight counts of child abuse and neglect tied to a 2023 incident in which a 6-year-old student shot teacher Abigail Zwerner. A grand jury report alleged she failed to protect students, and Parker could face up to 40 years in prison if convicted. The case follows Zwerner’s $10 million civil award and is expected to last about three days.
