'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One' Secures Highly Profitable Release Date in China

Mission: Impossible 7 - Dead Reckoning: Part One, starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, will be released in China on July 14, the same day as its North American release. Hollywood tentpoles have been earning less in China recently, but Cruise's last M:I film earned $181 million there. The film follows Hunt and his team as they track down a new weapon that threatens humanity. The cast includes Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, and Ving Rhames. The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and produced by McQuarrie and Cruise.
