A violent domestic-incident mass shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana, killed eight children—seven of the shooter’s and a cousin's—and left Christina Snow, mother of three of the victims, with a bullet lodged in her face; another woman, Shaneiqua Pugh, was hospitalized in critical condition. The gunman, Shamar Elkins, was shot and killed by police.
