Storm winds collapse Virginia church tent, killing one and injuring several
A large tent outside EastLake Community Church in Moneta, Virginia collapsed during a storm with high winds, killing one person and sending 11 others to hospitals, while 11 more were treated on the scene. The tent, part of a family-oriented event, was reportedly secured and evacuation was underway when the collapse occurred as a severe weather watch covered much of Virginia. Authorities and church leaders described a chaotic scene as responders assisted attendees.
