"Saber Astronautics Secures Space Force Contract for Cutting-Edge Data Visualization Software"
The U.S. Space Force has awarded Saber Astronautics a $1.2 million contract to develop data visualization software focused on the cislunar region of space. The software, called Space Cockpit, will allow operators to track and predict the trajectories of satellites traveling between Earth and the moon's orbit. Saber Astronautics will collaborate with Purdue University on this project, which aims to improve understanding of the cislunar region and support military and commercial organizations operating in that area. The Space Cockpit currently has about 2,000 users and the new cislunar tool will be available to them, allowing modeling of threats and planning of maneuvers in non-standard orbits.
