LEGO Skylines, a brick-based city-building game from Iceflake Studios (the team behind Cities: Skylines II), was unveiled at Gamescom with a trailer. The game emphasizes essential city basics and extensive LEGO customization, letting players manage utilities, housing, jobs, and parks in a city built from bricks. No release date was announced yet, but it will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC.

Kingdoms And Castles has released the Infrastructure & Industry update, which adds larger versions of existing buildings, including a larger treasure room, produce storage, iron mine, quarry, charcoal maker, reservoir, and tavern. The update also includes a smaller version of the game's existing church. The update also comes with a handful of other tweaks, including larger fonts on Steam Deck and some bug fixes. The developer's next game, Nova Roma, was announced last week and looks like a similar style of citybuilder with a Roman twist.
Fabledom is a fairytale citybuilder game set in a wholesome world where players can build their town, trade with other kingdoms, and even romance princes and princesses. The game is currently in early access and features an army recruitment system to defend against enemies. The full version will include eight unique storylines for each prince and princess.
