Mexico City Sets New World Record with 33-Meter Catrina for Day of the Dead
Mayor Clara Brugada inaugurated a 33.4-meter-tall Catrina sculpture in Mexico City’s Zócalo, setting a new Guinness World Record for the tallest papier-mâché figure. The installation, which surpasses the previous record from Puerto Vallarta, is part of a 'mega-ofrenda' displayed until November 3. The event also included a tribute to late political figure Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas.
