Bay Area Students Named National Merit Semifinalists for Class of 2027
Roughly 16,000 U.S. high school seniors were named National Merit semifinalists for the Class of 2027; in the Bay Area, the list includes semifinalists from many local high schools, with semifinalists expected to become finalists at about a 95% rate and roughly half of finalists projected to win scholarships.
