Pan Am Clipper Endeavor Recovered 74 Years After 1952 Puerto Rico Crash
A naval/aviation search team with the Discovery Channel found the Pan Am plane Clipper Endeavor resting in two pieces about 2,000 feet under the Caribbean Sea off Puerto Rico, 74 years after it crashed in 1952 during a San Juan–New York flight that left 52 of 64 on board dead; the site is being protected, a memorial is being sought, and Discovery will feature the find in an upcoming Expedition Unknown episode.
