Kids-Only Knicks Parade Lights Up the Upper West Side
CMOM hosts a free 4 p.m. Knicks championship parade for kids on West 83rd Street (between Broadway and Amsterdam) the day before NYC’s official parade, featuring a drumline, NYC-themed dance party, confetti cannons, Knicks cutouts, arts and crafts, and face painting, with grand marshals Amy Schumer and Jessica Seinfeld. The block will be closed for the event, which is scheduled after school as Regents exams constrain school hours, and CMOM notes its move to a new Upper West Side site planned for 2028.
