Xbox Insiders Get Four Quality-of-Life Console Upgrades (Color Customization, Release Notes Access, Controller Visibility, and Network Status Indicator)
Microsoft is rolling out four new Xbox console features to Alpha and Alpha-Skip-Ahead insiders, with a public rollout likely in June or July. The updates include (1) expanded color customization via hex codes and a 'match my gamerpic' option, (2) easier access to detailed release notes from Home after updates, (3) the Xbox Accessories app now clearly shows the active controller for easier remapping, and (4) a new network-status indicator that points users to a live outage page when service issues are detected.
