Celine Dion Returns to Paris for Sold-Out Residency After Health Battle
Celine Dion has arrived in Paris for a five-week concert residency at the Plenitude Arena, marking her first major public performance since the 2024 Paris Olympics. The 58-year-old singer, who was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome in 2022, has undergone intensive physical rehabilitation, including Pilates and ballet, to prepare for the shows. The residency, which began on September 12 and concludes on October 17, 2026, features sold-out dates with 45,000 attendees per night. Dion, who appeared in Paris on August 28 for a rare public outing, has stated she is ready to perform but remains cautious due to the long hiatus. Additional shows are scheduled for May 2027.
