Samsung Employees Leak Sensitive Data to ChatGPT
Samsung employees leaked corporate secrets by pasting proprietary code into ChatGPT, an AI model, to identify fixes and optimize code. After the incidents, Samsung is considering re-instating the ban on ChatGPT and taking disciplinary action against the employees. The company has limited each employee's prompt to 1,024 bytes and warned that access to ChatGPT may be blocked on the company network if a similar accident occurs. The OpenAI user guide also warns against sharing sensitive information in conversations with the system.
