Bucs cut QB Bazelak, face tough RB and QB depth calls
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers began trimming their 90-man preseason roster to the 53-player regular season limit on August 29, 2026. The team released quarterback Connor Bazelak, running back Barika Kpeenu, and several other players. General manager Jason Licht and head coach Todd Bowles must now decide on final depth at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver before the August 30 deadline.
