
GE Aerospace to Bring Casting Supplier In-House in $11.75 Billion Deal
GE Aerospace announced an $11.75 billion acquisition of Consolidated Precision Products to bring CPP’s precision casting capacity in-house, aiming to boost capacity, reduce supply-chain risk and accelerate engine development; the deal values CPP at about 18x 2027 EBITDA (26x 2027 core profit) and is expected to close in H2 2027, funded with cash and new debt, with anticipated EPS and free cash flow gains in year one.
