MTG Arena announces the Alchemy: Strixhaven release for May 19 with three spellbooks and the Secrets of Strixhaven gallery, launches Arena Championship 12 (May 23–24), debuts Contender Draft (May 22–29) with a 3,000-gem entry and a high-stakes prize ladder including a first-win Draft Contender title, issues a new Banned and Restricted update (Cori-Steel Cutter in Pioneer; Sewer-veillance Cam in Alchemy), runs Secrets of Strixhaven Arena Direct (May 27–31), and introduces new elemental frame cosmetics ahead of the Strixhaven release, plus the June qualifier schedule and May season rewards.
