MicroStrategy has increased its convertible debt offering to $700 million from $600 million in order to purchase more bitcoin, with the conversion price representing a 42.5% premium to the March 5 close. The company, led by bitcoin advocate Michael Saylor, aims to raise the funds through the sale of convertible senior notes at an interest rate of 0.625% per annum. With a stockpile of around 193,000 BTC, MicroStrategy's move reflects its continued accumulation of bitcoin, making it the largest publicly traded company holding the cryptocurrency.
