Euclid Telescope Overcomes Navigation Issue, Resumes Guided Exploration
The Euclid spacecraft, designed to investigate dark matter and dark energy, has successfully located its guiding stars after experiencing cosmic misidentification issues caused by cosmic rays and stray light interference. The spacecraft has undergone software updates and testing, and is now ready to resume its performance verification phase. Once completed, Euclid will begin mapping 3D models of galaxies and studying the influence of dark matter and dark energy on the evolution of the universe.
