Costco Quietly Ends Costco Next Online Marketplace
Costco has abruptly shut down its Costco Next online marketplace, with the site now displaying an “Access to Costco Next store fronts is no longer available” message. The program let Costco members buy discounted items from dozens of partner vendors, including Anker Electronics, Priority Bicycles and Viking Culinary. Costco provided little public detail about the closure, and media and Reddit chatter suggested it happened without warning. The company said Costco Next began around 2016 and expanded over time, with a 2025 CFO update noting an ongoing vendor pipeline, but the program has now ended without a formal comment from Costco.
