Police Unearth Massive Drug Cache at Creamfields Site Before 80,000 Attendees Arrive
Cheshire Police have uncovered a significant stash of illegal substances buried underground at the Creamfields Festival site in Daresbury, Cheshire, days before the event begins. The seizure includes 204 canisters of nitrous oxide, along with large bags of ecstasy, MDMA, and ketamine tablets. Superintendent Andy Blizard stated that these items were likely concealed months in advance by individuals attempting to outsmart security. The police are continuing specialist searches of the grounds and have issued a public appeal for anyone who buried personal bags at the site to contact them. The festival is scheduled to welcome approximately 80,000 attendees starting Thursday.
